High School

A School canteen is situated on the secondary school campus. A pre-paid cooked meals service is available for primary school students. Alternatively, Junior School and Secondary students can bring in buy food from our canteen. Students also have the option of bringing in packed lunch to school.

All children will be invited to sit for an assessment. This helps us to know the individual capabilities of your child and how best we can work with the child in the future in order for them to reach their full potential. Students hoping to join the High School will face more rigorous assessments as there are limited spaces available.

Here at Mount Olivet School we recognise that our students come from very different backgrounds and many may not speak English as a first language. Mount Olivet has dedicated teachers to support students who speak English as a second language. Your child will be assessed in order for us to develop a personal learning plan that will meet the needs of your child and ensure a successful academic outcome.

We welcome children from all backgrounds, race, creeds and abilities. We have a number of children with learning difficulties and disabilities thriving at the school. As with all children, your child will be assessed and meetings will be held with the parents and teachers to ensure that Mount Olivet can accommodate your child’s needs effectively.

There are two breaks for every student. The times vary per grade/key stage feature in the student handbook, which will be given to you at the beginning of school year.
